INTRODUCTORY COURSES

Our Introduction to Scriptwriting For Screen programme is open to anyone regardless of experience.

Primary Creations have ran many very successful scriptwriting for screen courses. Previous participants have said about the course; 'It has given me confidence in my writing', 'I've enjoyed meeting new people and sharing ideas', and 'It's inspiring and helped me build a portfolio of work'.

By the end of the programme each participant will have written a 10-15 minute short film and had their final piece read by professional actors. The sessions will provide information about structuring and developing a sound script; scriptwriting for screen principles, structure, formatting, dialogue, character, writing exercises. The sessions are a great opportunity to generate ideas while working step by step through the process of writing your own script.

Writing can be a lonely task. These sessions give participants the chance to meet like-minded people from all different walks of life with fresh eyes and minds to bounce your ideas off.

The course is priced at just £59.50 for our 6 week introductory course .

Places on each course are limited, and booked on a first come first served basis so do get in touch to find out when the next course is in your area.

1 DAY INTENSIVE INTRODUCTION

This one day session will arm you with the tools & confidence to move forward to write your own script.

The day will cover, structure, formatting, character and dialogue.

The price is just £50 for the full day. This is a great taster day to dip your toe into the scriptwriting world.

SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT GROUP

The 2nd phase is a weekly ongoing group for participants who have either attended our introductory courses before, or for those who have attended other scriptwriting groups.

The group offers an opportunity to work on any piece(s) of your choice, at your pace, in any form that you wish; short film, TV drama, feature film, TV series etc.

*Breaks the loneliness of writing

*Group remains small to give you plenty of time to explore your ideas

On the last session actors are invited in to read your work Currently our groups meet in Manchester City Centre. We offer 2 groups 6-8pm & 8-10pm on Mondays. We are planning to run 2nd Phase's in other areas in the near future

SCRIPT READING SERVICE

If you feel you can't find the time to attend one of our programmes we do offer a script reading service where we can offer feedback and identify areas for further development.

You will get a written report along with annotated script.

Prices are just £30 for 30 min script and £50 for 60 min script.
